Hoodoo and Heartache

I recently went through a break up. I begged my ancestors, Saints, and any other good spirit around me to bring him back to me.

He then blocked me on all platforms and deleted our messages so I could no longer see his responses to me.

I'm obviously heartbroken about this. I cried in front of my altar. Begged them to bring him back. I had a reading today that helped me to know that he wasn't the man for me, despite my heart wanting him to be. And it still hurts. Will I ever get over him? I'm not sure. But there are some Hoodoo tricks I'm going to try to mend my heart.

Here are some of the tricks:

✂️Cut and Clear✂️

A cut and clear is fairly simple. It is meant to cut and clear people or things from your life that are not meant to be there and/or causing you pain. It removes the cords between you two.

This is best done only when it's time to let them go. If you want to still be with them for any reason, do NOT do these works.

Here's what you will need:

- A knife/pair of scissors

-Florida Water/Holy Water

-(Optional) Cut and Clear Oil

1. You will cleanse the knife or scissors by saying "in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I cleanse this knife/pair of scissors, and bless it to remove any cords connecting me with -insert name here-. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen."

2. You move from head to toe in cutting motions around your body. Not on your body, however.

3. Once this is done, go stab the knife/pair of scissors into the earth.

4. Cleanse and sleep.

Black Walnut Bath

Here is an excerpt from Goddess Murmurs on what it is and how to use it:

"The walnut bath is a cleansing bath. It has the specific property of assisting in the breaking off of a relationship or any contact with another person. These ties are severed through the use of the walnut . Be sure that you want to end the relationship before you fool around with this bath, for there is no going back when you have done this. The “cutting off” may only be done once in this manner. Many people say they want to end something, only to wish to return to a bad relationship when nothing better comes along. Using a bath has its responsibilities.

Steps:

1. Boil six walnuts (unshelled) in an iron pot for about three hours, adding water as required. You can start with a quart of water but more will have to be added in the cooking process. You will end up with a hot black liquid that can be used as a bath after it cools.

2. Mix the liquid in half a tub of water and bathe for 8 minutes, immersing yourself seven times.

3. Pray to end the connection or involvement."
